What's this all about?

Working on Alluvial and Relic has been a hobby for me for a long time. It is built as a series of modules that sit on top of ionEngine to provide a variety of game components such as:

  • Procedural generation
  • Terrain rendering
  • Forest/vegetation rendering
  • Building/structure rendering
  • Character rendering

Development tools

Game database editor and mesh editor, other tools all built using imgui.

Forest rendering

Mesh instancing, impostors, and facade meshes are used to render a large forest view distance.

Game components

A component-entity-system module for all game objects.
